yeah, there is lots of skin being shown today, but it's because of what is promoted through the media & all that. It's honestly quite sad that many ladies are encouraged to dress provocative & show skin to "get a man" and to even show their beauty.
To answer your question, I would do a few things:
1) Pray really hard daily (I Thess. 5:17; James 5:16-18)
2) Avoid BET, MTV, VH1 & those type channels most of the time, if not all. They promote this type of ungodliness.
3) Be careful of the conversations you entertain--conversations create your meditations.
4) Be careful who you hang with...some people carry those "lustful" spirits and you don't want that stuff to rub off on you.
5) Watch out for the internet sites, magazines & other media that you view.
6) Stay in the Word daily--it will empower you & help you in this fight! Because it is most certainly a fight!

What are some ways to aviod lusting over women in our society today? i'm sure it was a peice of cake to stay pure back in the day when women wore dresses down to theyre toes. but today even in the church girls are showing lots of skin...LOTS!!!!!!!!1
