A Season of "Hope Deferred" (Proverbs 13:12)

Ladies & Gentlemen,

Good morning, good afternoon, and good day to you altogether! I pray that all is well with each of you. I was just thinking on a matter and I really want you to hear me out, see if you relate, and join me in praying (i.e. you pray for me, I pray for you, etc.).

You know, it is sometimes difficult to endure seasons because it is not just the trials, but it is also the delay in the fulfillment of certain promises. Sometimes, this DELAY is because of God's timing, and other times, it's is our fault for whatever reason; either way, our hope is "deferred" or put on hold. This is a crazy thing to endure, especially when you couple that with divers trials and temptations.

But, as I write, I encourage you (and I) to press on and seek God harder. Don't let the busyness of life stop you from seeking God (like it tends to do me sometimes); but, press forward, seek God and move on in your calling and purpose. The hope won't be deferred much longer (as I stated, with many more words in the previous blog - lol), because the breakthrough is on the way - but not without standing along with right application of certain things.

My brothers & sisters, I love you greatly. I continually beseech/request your prayers and hope that you are well. If you have any prayer requests, please feel free to post them also. I thank you for your time in reading this, and I pray that you are blessed. In some of the favorite words of Pastor Tony Foster, a former youth pastor of mine, via a quote by a famous minister of times gone, "May we win for the Lamb (Jesus) the reward of His suffering!"

Until next time,

Floyd
