Is getting rid of a negative person the best thing to do if your trying to be a follower of Jesus? I knw ur supposed to reach out and help but right now im not stable enough to have any1 bring down my spirits..im growing in God!!??

Well, it depends on the situation, but most likely, it is the best decision. Check out I Corinthians 15:33....negative influences affect both the natural & spiritual climates of our lives in most cases, so separating ourselves from them is usually best because it gives us space & helps us to connect with God more in-depth...and honestly, just because we distance ourselves now doesn't mean that the distance is a permanent thing...it may be just for a season (but then again, it could be permanent too--it depends on the Lord)
